As Covid cases rise in many counties and the start of school approaches, it is more important than ever to protect teachers, students, and their families. Public and private schools and child care facilities are already stretched thin staff-wise; we cannot afford to have staff out sick with Covid or other airborne illnesses or to lose staff altogether due to complications of Long Covid. It's clear that part of the solution is to reinstate mask mandates for the Fall 2022 back to school season.
