Let Adults Grow Three Pot Plants

Adults in Washington State should be allowed to grow a few pot plants at home. Just like we can home brew our own beer, we deserve the right to home grow our own cannabis. Home brewing isn’t a real threat the to state’s sin taxes, and home pot growing won’t be either.
The Washington State Liquor Control Board recently suggested restricting authorized patients to three mature marijuana plants and prosecuting patients who go over that limit—a downright unteneble plan. Instead, Washington legislators should change the law to let all adults grow three mature cannabis plants. This limit mirrors Colorado’s legalization law, which allows adults to grow up to three flowering pot plants whether or not they have a medical cannabis authorization.
Cannabis is a flower and we deserve and demand the right to grow it at home.
