Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife: Stop Killing Wolves To Appease Cattle Ranchers

0 have signed. Let’s get to 15,000!

The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) has decided to allow the killing of three rare wolf packs to appease cattle ranchers.

Ranchers say wolves are preying on their cattle and they reserve the right to kill them. Profit should never take precedence over protecting our wildlife and the delicate balance of our natural ecosystem. The cattle ranchers are to blame for having ranches in wolf territory. There is no justification for killing a predatory animal that naturally preys on animals such as cattle, especially, not when those cattle are placed in their environment. There are over a million head of cattle and only an estimated 120 wolves in Washington.
