Mandate Masks, Vaccines, and Testing for WCPS Staff and Students
Washington County Public Schools (WCPS) plans to reopen schools to in-person learning without the appropriate safety protocols in place. While WCPS requires masks and face coverings on school buses, there is no similar requirement for classrooms and other indoor spaces.WCPS does not believe that masks are effective in preventing the spread of Covid-19 and does not require staff and students (above the ages of 12) to be vaccinated or tested regularly.
Our children, especially those below the ages of 12 face the risk of contracting Covid-19, getting seriously sick, and possibly dying if the school board fails to take action.
Tell the WCPS school board to help slow down the spread of Covid-19 in our schools to avoid the another round of closures. Our children deserve better.
