In leu of of the infringement on our 2nd Amendment rights, going against the Constitution of The United States of America, I(we) would like Washington County to declare as a 2nd Amendment Sanctuary. In doing so will preserve our fundamental basic rights as per the Constitution. If we lose one right, the rest will start to tumble. Our forefathers put the 2nd Amendment in to protect ourselves from Tyranny within. If Washington County declares as a 2nd Amendment Sanctuary, it will provide safety for it's citizens, and hopefully get a movement started in surrounding counties. Gun control only puts guns into the hands of criminals.
