Sports are highly respected - to the point of rejecting the art and music programs in our high school. This is especially prevalent in the high school yearbook. The amount of pages that included sports extremely outweighed the arts program with a 49 - 5 ratio. Band competitions, choir trips, orchestra concerts, and art awards were not included in the yearbook. These groups were only shown in the photos that are required by all clubs, groups, and teams in the school. It undermines the hard work and dedication that these students put in to create wonderful music and artwork.

We need more inclusion in our high school yearbook. The arts and music programs should have at least double the amount of pages that they do now. Include all of our achievements because we worked hard for them. We can look back and know what we achieved together, because that's what yearbooks are all about, right? Looking back and appreciating our time in school and all of the amazing things we accomplished together.
