Due to the University strike action, enacted between the dates 22nd of February to the 16th of March 2018, we the students of Warwick University believe our money invested both into our tuition fees and living costs should be refunded by the University. With 14 days of strikes in total, out of the 150 days in the academic year, and with course fees totalling £9,000 a year this comes to £840 in tuition fees. Added to this is a living cost, which comes to £300 on average per Warwick student for the 14 days. Therefore we believe a minimum of £1,140 in refunded to each student affected by these strikes is appropriate and that the contracts all Warwick University students signed entitles us to this compensation.
