The district council have cut down loads of trees and made pathways throughout the park, this has had some positive effects. However they have been cutting down too many trees, our privacy for locals is no longer,as the path is too open and showing our houses, they do not have in their plans lighting to help keep the kenilworth school children safe as they walk through at night as it gets darker, also the park play area needs addressing for children to actually play on it as it doesn't have safe equipment, the wildlife has reduced dramatically and are scavaging in our bins particularly the squirrels looking for food and the birds don't sing like they used to so pathways are pointless for no reserve. Also the parking is private and is causing residents a nightmare when people are coming to park on private allocated spaces the council should provide spaces if they are making the park more appealing to outside residents. Also the council have showed no interest or respect towards the communities complaints and are continuing against people's advice of what would suit that park best. We would like a safer more appealing park with car parking for everyone to have access and prevent altercations regarding private spaces. Also to plant new trees for ones they have taken and privacy to be restored to residents who have lived here for years ,It's gone from quiet and peaceful to a nightmare .
