On November 6th 2020 Johnny Depp posted an image of a letter stating his resignation of being Gellert Grindelwald in the Fantastic Beasts franchise, per request of Warner Bros. Removing Johnny Depp, who plays a well-known and pivotal role in the franchise, is a huge mistake. Removing him would have been like removing Daniel Radcliffe. His face is already known for the role and many people will only see him as Gellert Grindelwald, because he is for us. Bring him back!
