As many of you know, tragedy struck yesterday when young rapper and social media influencer XXXTentacion (Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy) was shot and killed at the age of 20 due to a fatal gunshot wound to the neck during a robbery in broad daylight. Seeing as he has millions of fans worldwide, this heartbreaking event had a very large impact on his fanbase.

While he was alive, XXXTentacion had a very negative outlook on life and was suicidal until very recently. That being said, he didn't try to hide it, but instead saw music as a creative outlet for his anger and sadness, and reassured all of his suicidal & depressed fans. To many, his music was like an open door, beckoning for people - young and old - to come in, take a seat, and make yourself at home; everyone was invited.

To many, he was like a brother; he was always there for his fans, through thick and thin.

These past two years, Jahseh's turned his life around, for the better. He's strayed from his criminal path and was instead focused on charity events and trying to clear his name. He was a true creative spirit and didn't deserve to go, at least not this soon. Let this be a reminder to us all that we're only human. No matter how immune you may seem, no matter how positive you are, there will always be horrible people in this world. People who will murder and steal with no repercussion whatsoever and still sleep at night.

"The saddest part about XXXTentacion's death is knowing that he spent most of his life depressed and suicidal - but as soon as he was finally turning his life around, making a name for himself, and having a positive outlook on life, he gets it all taken away from him." - @DimmaDougsDale

R.I.P. Jahseh. I hope I can meet you when my time comes. We lost a legend yesterday
