Get Marc On IT: Chapter Two

Hi! I’m Marc, I’m trying to be an extra on IT: Chapter Two, I saw they were looking for extras so of course I had to drop everything, get covered for all my shifts at work and go to Port Hope for this once in a life time chance. 500 miles, about 10 hours later I was there for my audition. 11th in line out of thousands. This isn’t the first time I came to Port Hope. I visited every single filming location from the first movie back in April, needless to say, I’m a very dedicated fan! So I went through the line and was told that since I’m not a local port hope resident and I'm an American I can’t be in the movie I was told specifically “you don’t even have a snowballs chance in hell, there is no hope, not an ounce, it’s not going to happen”. Remember, I’m just 15, I’m not sure why they didn’t just say “sorry, no”, they had to really shame me after coming all this way... let’s remeber that the advertisement said all are welcomed and encouraged to attend... If you think I should have the opportunity to be an extra in IT: Chapter Two, then please sign this petition. The production company was looking for locals to help add to the local economy, well three meals a day plus hotel rooms and spending helps the local economy, any dollar I’d earn as an extra would go straight back into the local port hope economy and then some. Please sign and share this petition to show the production company that I should be given the chance to be an extra just like everyone else, and not be discriminated against based on my nationality. For reference, I spoke with representatives at the Port Hope Town hall and received an application for a Canadian work permit, this could all be arranged legally, the opportunity still awaits, and is all in the hands of Warner Bros., New Line Cinema, and Third Act Productions. #Marc4IT2
