universal is my happy place and it's truly disappointing that after all this time, they don't have a vegan butterbeer option. i truly hope they decide to take the next step and provide us with some vegan butterbeer! (crossing my fingers that it's gluten free too)

Letting people drink the food without the milk foam, or updating the foam to oat milk, should be a no-brainer.

The Universal Studios and Disney Parks have recently been making the push to make their menus more inclusive to every diet. Theme park staples like pretzels and popcorn are vegan as-is, and the Blue and Green Milk at Disney’s Galaxy’s Edge is too. Why shouldn’t Butterbeer be available to all?

Why force children (and more than a few adults) who love everything Harry Potter to partake in animal cruelty in order to indulge in an iconic beverage in the HP world. Even more so when perfectly wonderful alternatives exist that are actually healthier for guests than the breast milk of another species. The world is changing and that change is being lead by young people. Don't get left behind.

JK Rowling wanted to make butterbeer lactose intolerant-friendly, why not make it vegan as well ? It's a big step towards vegan Potterheads but it's not such a big step to her and those who make it. Plus, it would show respect towards Evanna Lynch, who played Luna and is vegan and can't even drink butterbeer at any of the Harry Potter parks because of that.

Not only do we all need to treat this planet - all its animals and people better - but also there are so many people who are lactose intolerant - I honnestly can't believe that WB and US didn't think about something as simple as that - frigging star-bucks has the good sense to offer a soy option of their drinks - there are countless ways of making whipped topping with chickpea water. WB just isn't even trying.
