The company that succeeds is the one that offers options. The novices will flock to either release. The law enforcement market will look for button to minimize retraining and muscle memory. Thinkers like me will reach for the paddle release because its a superior system.

I am left handed, and liked the paddle-style magazine release. My family has 2 left handed and 2 right handed shooters and I shoot using either hand.

It sucks having a pps as your carry gun and only be able to purchase a ppq with the stupid push button mag release.

I would like to have several more for family members, so that we all have the same gun, mags., etc.

The paddle release was what the PPQ came with, and to switch to a traditional push button should've been done from the start, instead of waiting until thousands have been sold, giving buyers an obsolete gun.

I guess this is why people buy Glocks...

It's good to have instant left/right hand accessibility when one member of the family who shoots is left handed and the other is right handed.

I became a Walther enthusiast in large part because of the innovative magazine release. Currently have it on my PPS and P99. Beg you to keep it as an option on the PPQ.
