As you all may know, MRT has decided to reopen school on February 16th.  I am creating this petition to make these half days, full days.  Also children grades PreK-2nd should be in school 4 days a week.  We all know they learn so much more than academics at school, the lack of socialization is devastating.  Also, they are missing out on the opportunity to learn how to read. It is now or never for them to establish a strong foundation. We also need to demand MRT come up with a VIABLE reopening plan where children are back in the classroom 5 days a week, to include specific dates immediately. 

My hope is to get enough parents to sign the petition and have a strong turn out to the school board meeting on the 16th that they will have to start listening to the parents and start thinking about what is truly best for the students.
