Many residents living in Hillary Street, Pleck have become concerned with the street being used for illegal activities such as drug dealing, soliciting prostitutes, fly-tipping in the hedges at bottom end of the street and the taking of illegal substances. Residents have reported witnessing drug dealings taking place and people loitering in vehicles whilst taking illegal substances. Dangerous and unsanitary items have also been discarded on the street (especially near the cul de sac by the petrol station) such as bottles of alcohol and evidence of drug-taking. This is especially dangerous considering that Hillary Primary School, attended by hundreds of young children, is situated on this street. Please sign this petition to show your support for the installation of CCTV cameras and other security measures on Hillary Street to deter potential offenders. 

We understand it may take us a while to see our desired outcome implemented, especially given current circumstances, but we hope that with the right amount of support we can make our street safer for residents and schoolchildren.
