Rachel Barker started this petition to Walsall Council and

Belvoir has neglected and mistreated its tenants for a long time, and poorly -if not at all- represented landlords.
In this instance, Regina House, 2 Upper Rushall Street would like to call upon local council members and other tenants signed under Belvoir to voice their grievances, as we know so many have been treated poorly.
Some of the key issues we have evidence of and have lodged multiple complaints with are as follows

•No postal point for tenants mail- (sensitive mail is either discarded in public areas of the building or never successfully posted)

•Poor building maintenance - communal areas irregularly cleaned, tenants complaints of broken fixtures (in a brand new renovated property) ignored for months on end.

•Gross neglect of basic living requirements-Tenants allowed to move into apartment without radiators installed for up to TWO MONTHS.
Allowed tenants to live in property with rising damp and rotting wood and fixtures for up to A YEAR before tenant left.

•No property inspections. This allowed anti-social tenants to abuse drugs on the property, let property go into disrepair, and allow an unsafe environment for one of the tenants to live in.

•Falsely advertised and promised several lies about the property to tenants upon viewing the properties.
Such as : Promise of connected broadband and phone lines, promise of new flooring and fixtures.

We need ACTION from BELVOIR. And if not, our local council.
All the above complains listed have been reported to Belvoir several times, and tenants have relentlessly contacted Belvoir to resolve the issues.

We need YOUR HELP to bring attention and resolution to these issues.

We have had to become a support group for one another at Regina House, as we find each other more useful and kind than the letting agency who have a duty of care to look after our accommodation.
We are exhausted, and frustrated at the unfairness we have all faced.
