Unmask U.S!  Let's begin with all Acadiana area workers, by giving them a choice whether or not to wear the Covid-19 masks.  Our government recommended that we wear them but a recommendation does not constitute a regulation.  We should not have to fear the consequences which include losing our job due to refusing to wear something that violates our human and constitutional rights.

If you choose to wear then you should be free to wear one. in contrast, if you feel that the mandatory wearing of a mask or facial covering:

1. Violates your human and constitutional rights

2. Is simply uncomfortable and negatively affects your ability to do your job

Get this to our employers and local politicians, they do NOT have the right to make us wear these masks.  Our politicians are here to serve us, we pay their salaries;  many of our employers benefit from government funding or intervention and our services as workers.  

Covid masks and facial coverings are not and have never been part of a dress code fro many of us. They are not deigned for corporate brand recognition. They negatively impact our health and ability to work. They dehumanize all workers by obscuring facial expression and nonverbal communication that is an important part of our roles as workers.
