Suzanne Patterson started this petition to Walmart and

People have the right to expect privacy while in a public restroom area and not be recorded or photographed with someone's mobile device or camera.  I am not sure why people are being dispatched to record people or if children, young adults, adults, and the elderly are not aware of the laws but retailers should make the public restrooms a safe and private place and post signs saying mobile devices and video/ photography is illegal or not allowed in their stores.  This needs to happen immediately!

I can specify why it is personal to me and my family and to others I have read about, however, I am fearful this will dissuade support of this very basic common sense request that brings harm to no one and will prevent whatever agenda people in bathrooms recording video / photography have or simply provide public awareness to not do this common sense thing.

I find it very sad that people are suffering from an act that is so invasive and yet another typical example of bad behavior of our basic human rights to privacy no matter what the reason.  How do you think a child or person feels when a stranger is recording video or photography in a restroom?  What do they do but walk away wondering what public domain that will be posted on or worse, that is a child's image. Why is someone taking a photo / video of a kid in a public restroom area anyway?

I am dedicated to making this happen and hope retailers will begin doing this right away.  This will hopefully change our culture and make it stop happening not only at retailers but at schools as well.

Sadly common sense and basic human privacy is something that has to be requested on change.org in 2021.

Please help this cause.

Thank you ❤️
