So its official and just about unbelievable. My brother Ryan just lost his job due to something that occurred at another company nearly 10 years ago. After you read, if you agree that its just not right, please share. I don't expect or want him to get that job back, but maybe a few more people to realize what kind of culture and ethics this corporation has. The story starts about 11 years ago, back when Ryan started working for Sam's Club. He was young, just barely 20 and mostly putting carts away. One day about 10 years ago he decided to answer a text and lost his job for being on his phone. Walmart owns Sam's Club and they had every right/justification to let him go. Over the last 5 or 6 years, he has worked hard for a company called Hayneedle which allows him to provide for his family. Walmart purchased this company within the last year or so and just noticed Ryan's past termination when they changed the payroll system over. This caused them to release him from employment. Of course, he'll probably end up better off given his HVAC certification and experience, but its tough for now, as he needs to provide for his 2-year-old. Like I said, just not right. Please share if you agree. #walmart
