I think there should be a direct discount at all self checkout locations.  This should be proportionate to the amount of the transaction.  

We are sometimes in such a rush that we use self checkout, the large companies are profiting & not passing the savings to their consumers.  Those machines are not paid a salary, they don’t have benefits, so why does it cost the same if a “person” checks you out & if you do it yourself?
