Stop Trucks on Murrell / Nichols Rd

0 have signed. Let’s get to 100!

Large Dump Trucks and 18 wheelers are utilizing Nichols / Murrell Rd for thruway between FM2920 and Magnolia Rd / Nichols Sawmill. The amount of trucks have exceeded 50+ trucks an hour starting as early as 5am and continuing late into the evening hours.  This curvy narrow road is in a residential environment and the condition of the road is already at a questionable state of integrity. The increased heavy truck traffic is creating a safety hazard and further degragating the road surface condition.  We as the taxpaying residents of this community request the swift and immediate action of our elected officials to place enforceable signs to stop heavy trucks for utilizing our roads as their thru way. The safety of our families are in jeopardy and we implore you to take immediate action.

Attention Century Oaks and Spring Creek Ranch residents:  Our Neighbor Elizabeth Revelise has already drafted a letter to the Sheriff, Land Commissioner, and Superintendent.  We intend to attach your signatures to that letter.  Please show your support to help resolve this matter.
