During the Covid-19 pandemic, many businesses have been forced to shut down or scale down on their operations to prevent the spread of the virus. People enjoy going out and having time for leisure usually in groups or enter large crowds for entertainment.. AMC Theater group and Gamestop had been declining in revenue and transactions of services for more than a year now and it has caused them to come close to bankruptcy. Congress has tried to look for plans to reignite the economy after the pandemic has ended and put a plan in place to save companies with a bail out so that they can resume business and boost the economy as the entertainment industry is a large part of American culture. The news of the bailout inspired american citizens, specifically day traders in the stockmarket to purchase stock in these companies using smartphone apps where they would earn hundreds to millions of dollars where the apps like Robinhood cancelled them out. They closed access to these once to be declared bankrupt companies to prevent their sudden Resurrection to keep people from earning as much as advanced stockbrokers. Keeping the 1% as the wealthiest group to only make the money while the 99% remained.
