Man spent 8 years in prison over a  3rd strike over a marijuana cigarrette at 18 years old. After getting out and no family to turn he struggled to make ends meet while paying fines and everyday needs. Oklahoma minimum wage is still 7.25 an hour. You can not get out from under the system unless you have help. As a result he went to selling harder drugs to support his drug habit and make ends meet and has been in prison another 3 years and counting on a 10 year sentence. He needs treatment, not prison. I talk to him regularly and hes a good man. He doesn't know I'm writing this petition. I know there is a bill on pause until 2022 to reduce sentences of non-violent offenders. Change is coming but it can't come soon enough. Thanks for reading!
