Ms. Moore,

As concerned parents, we seek to raise the issue of disinfectant use by students like Lysol wipes, and hand sanitizers, that is not allowed in Wake County schools due to misuse in the past. We understand the intention, but it is redundant now.

Given the current global scenario of the spread of Corona virus, it might be advisable to watch the child, and allow the use of disinfectants to wipe contaminated surfaces as directed and hand-sanitizers as frequently as possible. We understand that teachers, staff and janitors diligently clean up as much as they can. Students also need access to these resources on their own.

Further, we already have a nasty round of viruses that are circulating currently, and it is not like repeat infections are not possible. 

Please think about the disease impact on families, teachers and community at large. Please consider reverting the ban and doing right by the community.
