Stop Waitrose changing the name of its "Gentleman's Smoked Chicken Caesar Roll"

On 17th October, Waitrose announced it would be changing the name of its Heston Blumenthal range Gentleman's Smoked Chicken Caesar Roll, after a tweet of complaint from Amy Lamé, Sadiq Khan’s London "night Czar" who reported the offending sandwich to the feminist movement 'Everyday Sexism',

Waitrose apologised after the sandwich was branded 'an outrage' by a very small number of feminist culinary crusaders, and promised to rename it.

The name of the sandwich relates to its anchovy mayonnaise, similar to the product ‘gentleman’s relish'.

It is not because it is a gender specific or mysogynistic sandwich.

We the undersigned do NOT believe the above-named sandwich has committed an act of sexism, and we call upon Waitrose to invoke common sense and keep the sandwich under its current name, so we can all get on with more important things in life.
