I have been apart of the West Auckland community for 20 years now, before that I lived in Hamilton. The difference between the 2 cities in regards to Liquor outlets is,
Hamilton: 10 outlets in a 2km radius,
West Auckland: 2-3 outlets in a 2km radius.
More alcohol outlets means more crime, poverty and harm.
Petition Proposition:
We are requesting a stop on the need for west Auckland to have any alcohol in supermarkets, or any new liquor outlets.
To keep the system as it is.
