Build a safe jumping platform for Waikato

The locals who reside in Ngaruawahia and surrounding towns incl hamilton have been jumping from the Ngaruawahia train bridge for generations. The Waikato District Council along side Rail NZ have been implementing barriers of restriction to prevent locals from climbing the infrastructure. We understand that this must be done to detour those who climb into and on the structure and to eliminate unauthorised personnel from risk of harm. This is a high risk environment which is meant for trains and maintenance only. However, The Waikato District council Mayor Allan Sanson needs to understand that building a jumping platform for the locals and our region will not only reduce the hazard dramatically, But will create a safer alternative where kids and adults can do what they love doing safely. Its a Kiwi Pasttime. Dont kill it, Encourage it! -HadsTeHuia
