- There is a lack of Waffle House on the East Side of Cincinnati. It makes a lot of sense for there to be a Waffle House somewhere in the whereabouts of Walnut Hills, Oakley, or maybe even Madisonville. Our closest Waffle House locations to the East Side are the Clifton location which is odd and usually full of college students. Not to mention you have to park in Clifton which is a bit of a nightmare at times. And then there’s one in Covington but I’m less inclined to cross the river for Waffle House. Additionally neither of those are proper standalone Waffle House locations. They’re crammed into buildings with other stuff and are even smaller than the usual Waffle House restaurants. Apart from those it’s a trip out to the suburbs or the west side for a proper standalone Waffle House. It’s time that east siders can wake up at anytime they want and fulfill their delicious greasy breakfast food cravings. It’s time that east siders can stumble into a Waffle House at 2am and absolutely demolish an all star breakfast without blinking. It’s time the people living just off of interstate 71 on the East Side of Cincinnati got a proper standalone Waffle House.
