My name is Ben Jansen, and I am running again this year to be one of your Class of 24' Student Senate Representatives. Last year, I was elected to serve as our class's student senator. During this time in office, I have made many positive steps forward for our class. Examples include voting to pass budgets and motions in our favor, creating a weekly student senate update for our class, and gaining experience as the election committee chairman. With this past involvement, I have shown my voice, future potential leadership for our class, and my communication, relationship, and hard work skills. Other than serving on Student Senate, I have been involved with the Global Health Initiative/Public Health Organization, the Newman Catholic Center, Spanish Club, Indoor Soccer Club, Cycling Club, and Lambda Chi Alpha. If I were to be elected again as your representative, I promise to keep my ears open to the recommendations of all and continue the path of leadership that our class has.
