Due to a highly controversial statewide decision in October 2019, phones, smart watches, earphones and several other electronic items are being banned from public schools all over WA. This unfortunate news means that these devices can't be used anytime during the school day by teens, including well-earned breaktimes. I strongly believe that this restrictive ban should be reconsidered and removed by the WA Government ASAP because of some of the reasons and beneficial device purposes stated in this petition description, including the following:
