Because of recent list published by the HELSB for the vulnerable accepted applicants at Mulungushi University for the academic year 2021/2022. We as the younger generation are appealing to HELSB Zambia and the ministry of higher education to consider vulnerable people that don't have 5-6 points.

 Education helps improve lives and gives opportunities especially to those from disadvantaged backgrounds, it is key to unlocking the poverty trap.

Most young students are unable to acquire excellent points coming from schools with teachers that say “I don't care if you pass or not, I get paid at the end of the month”. From experience they only care about the smart children and not the ones that need help.We did our best.

We understand the risk the government takes when they award loans. However we ask you to please take people with at least up to merits into consideration. Do not leave out vaunerable people with good points.

Just a suggestion, award the brilliant ones with free education and the rest of us that you deem eligible with student loans.
