VTA: Don't Strand our Seniors & Students!

VTA: Don't Strand our Seniors & Students!

The Santa Clara County Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) has proposed eliminating light rail service to the Almaden Lake and significantly reduce bus service in Almaden Valley, cutting off all service in the southern half of the Valley. VTA has cut bus service levels for years and seen ridership decline in tandem. This is more of the same.
We are Almaden area residents working to save the 63 and 13 bus routes. For the 13, we are proposing a modified route, the 83, which would better serve local residents by connecting to more schools, shopping centers and the Almaden Library and Community Center.
