The Problem: Lack of Gender Inclusive Bathrooms on Campus

There are many students on campus who identify outside the gender binary. Because of this, when going to the bathrooms on campus, there are few bathrooms that do not specify "women" or "men". It is very uncomfortable to walk into the restroom and have people stare as you go in or get asked if they are in the wrong restroom when they enter and see you.

The Solution: Re-label some of the bathrooms in every building on Campus

Thus, to create a more inclusive environment, I would like to propose that UT increases the number of gender inclusive restrooms, be it simply relabeling existing restrooms. That way, those who do not fall in the binary and for others, we can make this campus even more accepting and welcoming to all people.
