We believe that we should lower the voting age from 18 to 17. The nation is pushing for children to have a more in depth understanding of the world around us politically. 
 
Lowering the voting age will allow more of our youth to get experience practicing their civic duty. It will also give those who want a first hand chance at learning more about our political system and how their voice makes an impact on the government the chance to do so. It would even allow those who have a late birthday to still participate alongside their peers.
