Currently the Chester County School District only provides a vague agenda and vague minutes to the voters and parents of Chester County School District students regarding monthly board meetings. Prior to the 2018 referendum, the district held community meetings in all attendance areas and had the technology to provide a live feed on social media for each of those “traveling” board meetings. However, over 2 years later, the CCSD after numerous requests, still refuses to “go live” which would increase community and parent knowledge and involvement. The board and district have repeatedly mentioned the lack of participation at board meetings, something they could easily remedy, by broadcasting monthly meetings live like so many school districts and county governments (Chester County Council) now do. Tell CCSD you want to be more involved and knowledgeable about our children’s education. Tell them you want them to promote more transparency, by signing this petition!
