Please save my life by helping me get enough signatures that CenturyLink will pay attention and upgrade their infrastructure for not only myself, but hopefully my whole neighborhood. According to several people I have spoken to, they have up to 30 Mbps just a little bit away from my address in pin one direction and 10 - 20 Mbps the other direction. The installation tech said that I was the last address on this node and they apparently do not have a department like Comcast where you can actually negotiate a deal where I can actually pay some money and they come out and upgrade the infrastructure and then boom they get a lot more business from the new customers in this area that they too needed faster better Internet.  But apparently they don’t have that as an option and  an Emilie suggested that I start a petition to gain enough attention for them to get interested in making more money.

Bottom line, 1.5 Mbps is about as good as dial-up. Lol if any of y’all can remember those days. Do you know what I’m suffering through. I have a teenage daughter, a wife, another daughter approaching two and a newborn son! We need Wi-Fi for the sake of humanity! Thank you for your support. The technician tells me that the line can handle up to 6 Mbps and that I can ask support to optimize it and see if there might give me a little more than 1.48 that I’m currently topping out at. I would be excited to get 5!!! I can’t even get any type of video security feed without having 1-2 mbps upload and I’m lucky to get .5 on their currently only plan available in my neighborhood… 

Now I’m being told to try and get quantum fiber since they are rolling it out everywhere in Florida. 

please I beg you!!! Or at least, say a prayer for us?
