We are South Unionville residents, We are strongly against the project to build multiple high-rise buildings (41 floors of condo buildings) at 8111 Kennedy Road. We love our neighbourhood and we want to stand together to protect our community from being over-crowded and losing necessary community and educational resources. E.g. Our elementary school (UMPS) is already over capacity and our children have to stay in 3 temporary portable classrooms outside of the regular school building. Our neighborhood can absolutely not absorb an increase of 1700+ households (almost 80% increase on the current number of households).
