My name is Brandon and I would like to spread as much word as possible about my wrongful termination. I’m not sure if this is the way to go but I am hoping that somebody will listen. Until recently I worked at the Volunteers of America in Palmyra, NY. On Tuesday November 6th a lady that was a regular customer approached me and gave me $6 dollars. This lady (whose name I can’t recall) was of thin stature, short graying hair, wears glasses, and is around her mid-fifties. She gave me this $6 dollars to help pay for another customers particular item and then she left. The other customer decided not to make the purchase so I kept the money until I saw this regular customer again to give the money back to her. The Volunteers of America and in particular, Lance N. the manager of the Palmyra store proceeded to terminate me because they considered this theft of company assets. I was even threatened for felony embezzlement and that my life would be ruined. I worked and slaved for this company at minimum wage for two years and thought I considered everyone that I worked with to be great friends. My manager Lance N. and I even played on Xbox Live together and he even hired me to cut his lawn this past summer. Every single person turned against me. Everybody that I thought I could call a great friend would not even speak one word in my defense. This is wrongful termination. I never stole from the company as this $6 was GIVEN to me by a friendly customer. I was not a tip of any sort and since it could not be used as the customer intended I planned on giving it back to that customer when I saw her again. This money was never the company’s money. This company and it’s employees are not what you think. Save your money and go to GoodWill or Salvation Army and support and better cause.
Thank you for reading this. If anything I really need to try and find this woman to completely clear my name. If you have any questions please contact me.
