Confirmed victory
Petitioning VNSNY Community Care CHOICE professional staff

Vote NO on May 2nd to unionization

There are several reasons to vote NO:

1) There has been a dearth of knowledge for a large part of the staff as to why this union and why now

2) At least 1 of the 3 professional groups purported to be represented by this unionization effort were under-represented on the petition to the NLRB to call for the vote

3) Senior management is now well aware of grievances which should bode well for a constructive dialog during the coming year IF there is a NO vote (legally mandated cooling off period - no union can come in during that time)

4) The coming year would also give ALL of the professional groups involved time to gather, talk, and explore ALL union organizations and COLLECTIVELY decide on which one may be right for our workplace.
