I was shocked and appalled when I purchased a bottle of water at a concert at Vivint Smart Home Arena, recently.  The gentleman working proceeded to pour my water, already in a plastic bottle, into an even larger plastic cup!!! He explained the artists demand this because once upon a time, some performer, was hit in the head with the top of a water bottle.  They are now dangerous!   This is preposterous!  I felt guilty enough purchasing a bottle of water and then this...this has got to stop.  Apparently, this has been policy for some years now.  I had no idea.  Imagine the thousands, likely millions of plastic cups and bottles used.  It actually makes me a little sick.  Help me change this ridiculous “policy”.
