Girls need better quality feminine products available in public schools at no cost.

Girls do not recieve free products for their menstrual cycle. In many public schools, like University High School, do not provide free, good quality products for a girl’s menstrual cycle. In Los Angeles Unified, the number of students who are homeless has increased 50% making many girls unable to afford their own products for their menstrual cycle. Having this in mind, it is very important that schools start paying more attention to this issue.

Not only is that one factor, but in addition, it is not fair that schools do provide free condoms for boys but put aside the necessities of any girl. It is not a privilege to be provided with products but moreover a necessity!
