We are students from the Vaartstraat 94 residency. As many of you are aware the rector of KU Leuven sent an email on the 29th of March regarding the rent reduction in the residencies managed by KU Leuven. Even though they have no say about the private market, they have kindly asked them to follow their actions in this matter and show solidarity. Since no such actions have been taken at Vaartstraat, we are starting a collection of signatures to help show that we too should be granted a reduction in price during these exceptional circumstances.

Due to the current situation, a lot of families are suffering from economical difficulties and the students at our residency are not an exception to this issue. Therefore, we should have the same right as other residencies and receive the same treatment.
