In order to prove that in-person instruction is safe during the COVID-19 pandemic, any Virginia elected or appointed officials that have advocated for a return to in-person instruction - Virginia Department of Education staff, state senators, members of the House of Delegates, local school board members and superintendents - should volunteer to work at least one full day each week as a substitute teacher in a K-12 public school for the duration of this public health crisis.
