Time to take action.
Sep 8, 2017 — The Virginia Department of Environmental Quality's public comment process for the Atlantic Coast and Mountain Valley pipelines was an utter disgrace. Now the agency is weighing approval, and it's time to take action in a big way.
Next week, I'll be taking part in the most massive and creative environmental protests in Virginia's history. Virginians will rally outside each of the seven DEQ offices for two days straight. We'll begin with a prayer vigil on Wednesday, September 13th at noon and end with huge rallies on Thursday, September 14th. Seven offices, two days: a dozen actions across the state. Together, more than a thousand people will come together in a unified showing of support to send this strong message to McAuliffe: We don’t want no fracking pipelines!
You'll want to be a part of this historic event. It will be massive. It will be powerful.
