Virginia Beach Town Center Parking - Reject the $10.2 Million for parking we don't need
0 have signed. Let’s get to 200!
Virginia Beach City Council intends to approve public funds for a parking garage within a mixed-use residential complex near town center. This $10.2 million price tag is not worth the additional parking, when adequate parking already surrounds town center (9 public garages/lots). This garage would be more than 1/2 mile from town center and there are already multiple garages and surface lots that are under utilized because the demand for more parking does not exist.
Save the taxpayer's money and reject this wasteful spending.
