The Godfather is a classic novel by one of America’s best novelists, Mario Puzo. His first novel, The Fortunate Pilgrim, was a masterwork in poetic prose, garnering good reviews but not commercial success. He wrote The Godfather lovingly based on his mother’s stories. It was a blockbuster success.  After two of the most acclaimed films ever made based on this novel were successful, The Godfather III has tarnished the legacy. Sofia Coppola was unfairly blamed, but I am more upset at the film for replacing Robert Duvall with George Hamilton. 

Vin Diesel has the star power to help this project become reality and bring Mario Puzo’s legacy to a new generation!
