We, the people of Middleville pay an exorbitant amount of taxes to the Village of Middleville and to Thornapple Township to live in a nice, peaceful area. It is not a “sense of entitlement” to expect the people whose salaries we pay to abide by a code of decency. We trust that when we elect people to certain positions that they fully research any candidates behavior before they “elect” them for any position. Ms. Fisk has shown who she really is. In this day, age and “politically correct” environment it is crucial to maintain professionalism. And you should all remember, you are not our boss. We are your boss. We pay you to perform a specific task and treat us with respect while you raise our taxes every year. We say who stays and who goes. Just the facts people.
This action by Ms. Fisk shows her immaturity and I am appalled that she would show such glee at the death of a fellow Christian or anybody else. This is not the person I want in this position within the village Of Middleville.
Very disrespectful of a public official and particularly gutsy in a predominantly non-Democratic city and county. I would expect this behavior from liberals and leftists. She has lost my trust and confidence in impartiality and objectivity to lead this town.
I see AF refuses to resign. Looks to me like Middleville has an unrepentant Socialist with the usual lust for power on its hands in AF. Get rid of her before she is your County clerk, wielding mucho power locally. If she hates conservatives so viscerally, what will she do to your election processes? The whole country is falling to Marxism and Eva Brauns and Evita Perons like AF are a serious threat to the Republic, even in small towns. She is dangerous AF. Get rid of her. NOW! Then turn to the next battle. Or, explain to the grandkids how everything good about America died on your watch. J
I find it repulsive that any person, let alone an elected public official, would stoop down so low as to rejoice in the death of another human being simply because they do not agree with their stance in politics. We need people holding office who are there with the intention of being able to benefit their community, not spew their biased hatred upon the world. I’m embarrassed that this woman will be seen as representing Michigan as the news of her despicable post spreads around the Country.
While everyone is entitled to their opinion and freedom of speech, one must understand when you do voice it, you will be scrutinized by someone. I don’t want a village president representing my town who feels they can speak openly without reprimand on a “private” page and should not be held accountable. It’s on the internet. Nothing is private. It’s called maturity and knowing when to stay quiet. This woman has a lot of growing up to do.
