With the passing of the Marijuana Regulation and Taxation Act (MRTA) this spring, New York State became the 17th state to legalize adult-use recreational marijuana.
Currently, New Yorkers over the age of 21 are legally allowed to possess and consume cannabis. Dispensaries will be legally allowed to operate in New York State as of January 1, 2022 regardless of if East Aurora allows it, or not.
Sign the petition to keep with the new New York State law allowing marijuana to be sold and consumed in safe and regulated establishments within the village of East Aurora.
