We students of class 11 and 12 of the science stream, prepare very hard and sincerely for KVPY exam. This exam is a very important milestone in our journey especially for pursuing the carrier is research in basic sciences. 

Third wave has hit the country and cases are increasing exponentially. In some states the positivity rate has crossed 11 even. Although it seems to be the milder virus, but data suggests the unvaccinated group has relatively high risk. Secondly, we the science stream students have to study for very long hours to prepare for the entrance examination( JEE/ NEET)  just after 12th exam. On it the closure of physical classes, and the classes and everything happening online and restricted movement physically has led to increase in weight of most of the students, leading to increase in the risk category for the students. 

In some states there is curfew over the weekend that is on the day of examination i.e 9th of January, 2022. 

we students would like to request to kindly postpone the exam else, some of my mates and me have to miss the important examination. Some students might get infected and may infect the other family members as Omicron is 5-6 times more contagious.

We sincerely hope you will postpone the examination.
