It’sridiculous that Vigo County School Corp is trying to shut down another school.The parents, kids and teachers are against this. They use the word repurposing instead of closing. They have already closed two schools. Splitting up students to already overcrowded schools. Our special needs students will be torn away from the teachers they’ve always been with. Theses students are accustom to these teachers and theses teachers have worked so hard to make that happen. The teachers/staff at Meadows Elementary  are not even guaranteed a job at a different school once they repurpose aka shut it down. Not to mention ALL of the surrounding schools that are already overcrowded. Classrooms that have too many students for teachers to teach properly. How are these students going to be able to reach their full potential? Lets us add a already short bus staff to the scenario, some drivers have multiple routes. This repurposing aka shut down will just add on stress to an already short staff of bus drivers. Vigo County school bus drivers are already going out of their way to get kids to different school districts. The staff and students want to be heard and we as members of Vigo County should help them be heard!
